I bought the SONY VAIO (VPCEA35FG Case Memo# T21/4466) laptop from your E-Zone Showroom on 25-dec under the offer of 5 to 50% money back. In that offer I got 5% money back, which means I can do purchase of 2200/-(which is the 5% of the total amount of the Laptop, 44, 991/-) from the showroom. Customer care manager said that according to the offer I can do purchasing only in the first week of February which was fine for me. i didn’t even get the “MONEY BACK GIFT VOUCHER” since it was not available that time, so all I got one acknowledgement slip stating that I will be getting the 2200/- Gift Voucher in 10 days.

Now around one week back I received a SMS from E-Zone that my “MONEY BACK GIFT VOUCHER” is ready and I can collect it from the showroom. I called to the E-Zone regarding collecting the Gift Voucher then I came to know the terms and conditions of the offer which was:

I should do purchasing of at least six times of the gift voucher amount then only I can use my “MONEY BACK GIFT VOUCHER”(in my case I should do purchasing of 2200*6=14400/-, so that means total i have to spent 44991 14400 rs to get 2200 discount,). I got shocked and when I asked customer care manager : “if that the case I should have been informed earlier, by the time I was buying my laptop” they said it must have explained everything to mewhen I was getting the laptop, which is not true. Nothing was communicated to me, while getting the laptop I talked to around 4 different staff members of E-Zone including the Customer Care Manager, Who gave me the receipt. Had I known the complete offer I would have never bought the laptop from E-Zone.

Now my question is if it is not communicated to me, no written communication (which says about the offer) happened between me and the Showroom (it could have been mentioned in the “GIFT VOUCHER” but I didn’t even get that, I got the acknowledgment slip, and nothing regarding 6 times purchasing thing was mentioned in it). Showroom people are saying that they have informed about this to everyone but in my case they might have forgotten then whose fault is this and why should I be at the receiving end? I feel cheated by E-Zone, and paying the price of trusting on E-Zone.

Just because showroom put (* terms and conditions applied), they cannot do this me.

Mistakes done by E-Zone :

1. No one (including the customer care manager of E-Zone) informed me about the hidden clause of the offer by the time I was buying the laptop.

2. In showroom the clause were not written anywhere.

3. (The major mistake) I didn’t receive the “MONEY BACK GIFT VOUCHER”. Because if I had received it, I would have read the terms and conditions and I would have cancelled the deal of buying laptop.

My Mistake: I trusted E-Zone.

I Want you to look into the matter and provide me the solution for it asap
