Job, Poor Work Cultue

Never enter the company Logitech Chennai - Very Poor Work Culture.

We are planning to leave this waste company. it is facing badiya employee turnover.

Let us give the problems one by one

1) Poor Management

There is a person named Siva Tharmarajah who is the big rat and founder of the company in chennai. He is a highly biased person and promotes people to manager if they please him. He promoted a lady of 4 year experience as manager. he promoted another 3 year guy with networking experience as manager. He terminated person with 20 years experience who joined logitech - because he did not pleased siva, although he was above average performance. siva is a 13 year experienced guy in logitech and he is eating on others effort. big rat and he indulges in all other departments work with construction worker attitude for engineers. he insists people to work 18 hours because he sleeps only 4 hours. he thinks the remaining 20 hours is working, but watching and poking around. big rat, the real root cause of company's failure.

2) Root Cause

I entered the company accidently by seeing Logitech image. But the root managers wanted people who please them otherwise we have to work hard and no promotions. So if you are bad at pleasing do not go there - you will get frustrated by the choothiya managers.

Don't just think they will keep you without having good work. There are other managers terminating the filthy guys too. so no gain other than working and playing politics.

3) Increment is very low.

we have to go for maximum bargain in the initial join. otherwise the yearly increment is 5% to 8%. i joined during recession and received only less package. now my increment too is 5% very bad.

4) Fear of termination

during the reign of siva, he shivered people like dogs. everybody feared of termination. so we cannot plan long term like buying a flat or things thinking when the termination will come

5) InterOrganizational Politics

the other branches outside india (fremont, toronto) are treating chennai branch as a threat to their position so won't share right pieces of knowledge. so big hell of work. the software like harmony requires huge business and technical accumen of 5 years existing code. hell at work.

So dear friend don't enter this culture less organization where some body works, other enjoys.

If you really wanted to enter (if hell other waiting) enter for maximum salary like 10 lakhs for 5 year experience. that is payment for working there with rat managers.
