Hi,

I applied for a new gas connection with the documents demanded by the nanda gas agency, at saligramam, chennai. A registered post was supposed to be sent by the gas agency to my residential address within 10 days.

After two weeks, when I went to the gas agency and enquired about the non-receipt of the post, the people working as employees instructed me to go to Vadapalani post office, asking me to collect the Post which according to them, has returned back to post office.

I went to Vadapalani postoffice and enquired, but the letter was not there. The Post man wanted to know the registered post number, which again was not provided by the gas agency employee.

I went back to gas agency but the reply from the workers was irresponsible and irritating. Once again, I was made to go back to post office to enquire about the letter.

Finally, the gas agency receptionist scolded me for going to vadapalani post office (previous instruction was also given by the same receptionist) and changed the entire story, telling that saligramam post office is the incharge for this (my residence is at vadapalani and the same girl few days back instructed me to go to vadapalani PO).

After enquiry in saligramam PO (letter was not there), I went to gas agencyback (I need a gas connection which is an essential thing at home, for which I had wandered between agency and different post offices).

Miraculously, the letter had appeared in the gas agency itself and the story was the letter returned to them from post office. My residence is an apartmental building and there are always security people to receive posts from postman.

The registered post envelope was not shown to me initially after request and then when I saw it, the pincode given in the letter was wrong (even after giving correct residential proof).

After three weeks of tiresome enquiries and irritating answers, the letter was given back to me. Gas agency worker asked me to send it back by registered post (for which I should pay the money), receive it at my residence and come back to gas agency for new cylinder.

Do you think I will go back??

I am a professional and the way I got treated is like an illiterate. The workers will give irritating responses and behave irresponsibly. Just think what will happen if I join here as a customer. Each time a problem will be created. They will not accept their fault.

My time, energy and money was wasted. I have made the story too long but I know, there are many people suffering like this, but has not come out with a complaint.
