This is to keep the General Public informed & be cautious about the Fraud committed by Mr. Rajat Tanwar & Mr. Himanshu Kapoor of New Age Interior. Mr. Rajat had taken a Paint & Polish contract of a building at Majlis Park, Delhi - 110033 for Rs.1, 35, 000/-.with in a month 30 days. Also he insisted us that the LABOUR will stay at site & there should be proper facilities of preparing Food & Fan for them.
The Bifurcation of Payment for the Contract is as follows :
Advance - Rs. 27, 000/- @ 20%
On Completion of Ground & First Floors - Rs. 27, 000/- @ 20% 10 days
On Completion of Second & Third Floors - Rs. 40, 500/- @ 30% 10 days
On Final Completion of Front Elevation & Stilt Parking & Staircase - Rs. 40, 500/- @ 30% 10 Days
After Paying advance Mr. Rajat was supposed to complete the Paint & Polish work of G.F. & Ist Floors but despite completing Polish work he shifted his team to Second & Third floors & asked for IInd Installment for which I denied because the First Installment job was uncompleted but he convinced me to pay IInd Installment of Rs.27, 000/-. Now after getting first two installments of Rs.54, 000/- he started delaying the work. Even after 25 days the First two floors (GF & FF) polish work was not completed & my Ground & First Floors buyers started pushing me hard to finish the work asap. Now as the front elevation work also delayed we were unable to complete Glass & Grill work of staircase & Front. I forcefully asked Mr. Rajat to complete Ground & First Floor work with front elevation so that we can complete front Glass & Grill work & leave Second & Third Floor for the time so that we can give possession to buyers of Ground & First Floors. He started asking for his third installment of Rs. 40, 500/- but this time I offered him Rs.20, 000/- but he started harassing & blackmailing me by saying that I have to stop the work, if you will not pay me complete third installment. I WAS SHOCKED. As I had already paid him more than the work he had completed till then, but still I agreed to pay him Rs. 30, 000/-, for which he again repeated that "If the work stops due to shortage of material, don't blame me". By this time I had paid him Rs.84, 000/- i.e. 100% of first two installments & 75% of third installment.
After that he didn't paid even a single penny to any of his workers & even didn't send any material at site. I called him up after 2 days he said I have met with an Accident & sitting at POLICE STATION. Next day I called him he said I'm arranging for a car (as his car is in Garage after Accident) & coming to site in 1 hr. I waited for him the whole day, but he didn't came & not even bothered to take my call.By then all his workers were sitting idle as there was no material & his workers said that "We didn't had food since yesterday as we don't have money" I had given them money to buy food & asked them to keep calling Mr. Rajat but Mr. Rajat didn't bothered to take anyone's call. The same thing started repeating almost everyday for 6 days. His workers used my place like a "DHARAMSHALA" & I even paid approx Rs.3500/- for their food & travelling. Mr. Rajat didn't came into Picture for 7 days. After 7 days Mr. Rajat replied to my SMS & said I will not start the work until unless I get 100% of Contract Amount i.e. balance Rs.51, 000/-. I WAS AGAIN SHOCKED.
How justified is this My work is already delayed by more than a month & his workers has already left the site after having a rest at my "DHARAMSHALA" for 8 days. Their workers also stated that the same thing happened earlier at a site in DWARKA also. Now Mr. Rajat didn't pick our phones & didn't bothered to come to site after that. Now my Buyers are after me for UNCOMPLETED WORST QUALITY OF PAINT & POLISH WORK.
Please Don't Work with these CHEATERS, BLACKMAILERS & FRAUDS. They don't have respect towards anyone either it is their WORK their WORKERS or their CLIENT.
