This is a service complaint about wrong marketing and sales practices carried out by Marriage Bureaus.

I have complaint against In Matri Marriage bureau/Matrimony Services for Sales-Falsification.

I was approached by a senior marketing lead from this company by the name of Shilpa Kapoor for registering with them to find a right match.

I was been chased for 3 -4 months by the Shilpa for registering with them and I had made my expectations very clear on the type of service they are offering and how it can help me in finding a rightful match I had also spoken to the Shilpa about my experience in other marriage bureaus (Jeevansathi.com) and how I lost my money and valuable time..also exposing my personal details without my prior permission to the counter parties. Having shared the above experiences I was promised by a clean and transparent service by Shilpa Kapoor (Inmatri) which would entail clear and concised practices and guaranteed approach to counter parties (bridal alliances) and Family's and only shared with me " After the Girl and her Parents have given a confirmation and agreement for my Profile and mentioned expectations which will enable me in contacting the bridal alliances and taking things forward towards marriage"I was offered a 6 Months service @ 3750/- with the Above and Following expectations clearly marked.

1. Shilpa will help with finding a expected match (It was not made clear that my account will be handed over to a operations executive post my enrollment).

2. I will be sent profiles for bride alliances (girls)& and their parents who have gone through my profile in detail and have a mutual positive consent before approaching me or vice versa will be ONLY forwarded to me..

3.Mutual agreement and Shilpa's consent for matches made by priority such as ..Caste/ Language/Cosmopolitan etc. will ONLY be forwarded to me. Owing to less number of expected matches in the bureaus (Inmatri.com) database,

I had flagged as a possible falsifier/ dissatisfies the consumer leading to wrong market reputation.

As a resolution to my query told by Shilpa Kapoor that there were certain profiles in the matrimony sites website which was only viewable to " Registered /Paid/Enrolled " customers and there are expected matches in the such a database on which she will work and show me profiles which have agree to point no.2 above. Upon Meeting Shilpa Kapoor at Inmatri matrimony bureau office and discussing the same and receiving and agreement to all of the above I decided to enroll for the 6 months service @ 3750/- . I instantaneously paid the amount upon which Shilpa showed me the profiles which were in the database not available on the website.

We did a shortlisting for 14 Profiles and Shilpa agreed to work on those profiles . felt a surprising element when in got a batch of Bridal Profiles in my e-mailbox in next couple of days with some 5 profiles shown as a match and my consent to share details with them. I responded adequately to this e-mail by calling and speaking to the operations executive at Inmatri about the arrangement and deal I was offered by Shilpa Kapoor at in matri..and awaiting her reply on the 14 bridal profiles shortlisted. Ops Executive explained me to my dismay that my account will now be handled by the operation Dept. and not Shilpa and now it will be worked upon by us... having listened to this answer i responded if shilpa has shared details on the 14 profiles shortlisted and what was the deal details and arrangement for my enrollment???

An expected "NO" was recieved in reply from the operations executive. from the 5 profiles shared I expressed my interest to one which upon my further learning was not as expected match it girls end??.falsifying on the point no. 2 above. In leiu of the above happenings Shilpa Kapoor or any senior person from Imnatri .com is not responding to phone calls and e-mails and there is only operations are responding and they have stated " not to refund" my enrollment charges as there are incapable of providing the agreed aforesaid services

I hereby plead for justice in the above complaint .or a Full refund for amount charged to me as it a open and shut case of sales Falsification and cheating.
