Sir/Madam, I applied for the summer training in BHEL Haridwar but I was rejected without giving any reason. When I talked to the selected students then I came to know that selection is carried on the basis of the money you give as the donation or if you have any other source in the company. BHEL Haridwar claims that second year B.Tech students are not allowed this time for summer training but many 2nd year students are doing training there because they have source there. BHEL is a reputed company and is the centre of excellence setup by MHRD.It is not expected from such companies to ask for the donations. There should be some system for the selection.
I request please convey my message that concerned department of BHEL Haridwar should check that there are many 2nd year B.Tech students doing training.
