Dear Sir
Delhi Public School, Sector 45, Gurgaon, has been compelling students not to buy school shoes (black shoes) from any other place other than from School run canteen. They have directed the parents to buy only NIKE BRAND shoes from the school which is being sold at the school outlet only.
You will agree that in a country which has been inspired by likes of Gandhiji and a movement like Swadeshi was started by him, how can a school compell students to buy only NIKE shoes?
Secondly, thy have mentioned it in School Diary (Elmanec) also that the students should only buy this particular shoes other wise they will not be allowed to enter the school.
It is a clear cut case of Unfair Trade practice being practiced by the school in question.
You may check the school Elmenac/ School diary which has clearly mentioned this. They must have entered into some kind of Agreement with NIKE SHOES and are earning huge profits!!
I request you to take this matter very seriously against the school authorities.
