DPS NERUL'S TOTAL MISMANAGEMENT OF CLASS IX EXAMS IN 2010
MAKING CLASSX STUDENTS OF DPS NERULGO THRU THE CLASS IX CBSE EXAMS AGAIN WHEN THE SCHOOL RE-OPENED FOR THE NEW TERM, AS THE SCHOOL HAD BADLY FUMBLED BY RUSHING WITH SCHOOL EXAMS FOR CLASS IX WHEN THEY HAD TO ACTUALLY GIVE THEM CBSE BOARD PAPERS FOR CLASS IX... so, to the disappointment of the students, when they entered class X for the new term, they were told to their great dismay that they had to re-appear for class ix exams again, as the school, in a rush to finish off with the exams, had given them school exam papers... against the cbse board directives... by mistake, when they had to actually give them the cbse exam papers!! Students had to pay heavily for the mistake of the school authorities!! THIS IS NO JOKE AND ONE COULD VERIFY THIS FROM ANY STUDENT OR PARENT OF ANY 10TH GRADER OF DPS NERUL!!
AND CONTINUOUS POSTPONEMENT, AND FALSE PROMISES OF ADMISSION BY PRINCIPAL AND OFFICE... FOR ADMISIONS TO CLASSX..FOR NEW ADMISIIONS..
The Dps nerul principal Chabbhra truly has NO RESPECT FOR STUDENTS OR PARENTS..AND CARES ONLY ABOUT MAKING MORE MONEY FOR THE SCHOOL BY HOLDING DIFFERENT OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES/EXAMS... HE WOULD DO BETTER AS A BUSINESSMAN!!
We shifted base from B'lore to mumbai when my husband got a job in mumbai as we were assured of admission as our son was in dps, b'lore, and he is a very bright student.
After we shifted, the dps office kept postponing the written test, for a month..Class X had already begun at dps nerul, and we were made to wait like fools for a month, after which my husband tried to meet the Principal..parents seeking admissions are made to stand like fugitives and scheduled castes outside the gates, and no one talks politely, or calls them inside...
After a long wait, finally my husband succeeded in meeting the principal, who said that that a written test will be held in April... he said we could go ahead and buy the books, and assured us that he will get admission...
even for the written test, when it was finally held, parents and children were made to wait mercilessly outside the gates like labourers under the scorching heat for 2 hoursafter which the students were called iside for the test... parents had to fend for themselves, some put down newspapers outside and squatted on them... each and every person had a word of curse for the school principal and management for this callousness
my son secured 85% in the written test... we were told only one seat was vacant... and were told to wait till july for admission to classX.
I was infuriated with the attitude of the principal, who again made himself unreacheable and the office, who were pulling us all along with the hope of admission... this is the worst administration i have ever encountered... no respect, no proper organisation... the worst ever i have seen till now!!
finally, my son and i are back in b'lore to complete class X in dps, b'lore itself... here, parents are treated with warmth and respect... the dps nerul staff and principal ought to get some training from b''lore dps pricipals and staff... a finishing school is what he requires to understand what is the meaning of the words..respect and faith
