There is a serious issue going on in DY Patil institute of biotechnology and bioinformatics, sector- 15, cbd belapur, new bombay.
1.) Exam department is delaying results every semester.
2.) Exam department is providing a chance to students who are in detained list (which the department knows about a month before they display result.).
They never give us a reason for delay in results. Sometimes they say they have not received the result yet from university in Nerul, if they have not received the result, the display of detained list a month before the results is unexplainable.
Students in detained list are suppose to pay 500 rs or 1000rs per subject by which they are detained.
The results for November exams were put up on 30th march. We have our internal exams tomorrow and one of my fellow student RAHUL SHROFF came to know yesterday that he has been detained.
He was not in the detained list a month ago, still he got detained. No body in college is taking the responsibility to explain him why he is detained now Or why he was not given a chance to clear his subjects like others got. Exam department is now stating that the process (point 2 above) is unofficial. Nobody knows what is going on in the College and nobody dares to complaint as situation suggests that every student's marks are in control of the exam department.
If the process of supplementary exams is unofficial where does the money go which they collect. The university does not know about the process.
Every one in my college is shocked about rahul's case. Nobody is able to study for tomorrow's exam.
