My daughter had applied for AIEEE examination from Kanpur Centre. Even though in most of centres the examination was conducted in 1st May'11, but in her centre (KV-1, Chakeri, Kanpur) the examination was postponed to 11/05. As she was to appear Odisha JEE and BSAT in the same week at Bhubaneswar, I requested for change of centre from Kanpur to Bhubaneswar or Calcutta. I wrote about a dozen of letters/ emails to Chairman, Director and other functionaries of CBSE right from 01/05 to 10/05 but there was no response except one I received on 09/05 intimating that it is not possible to change the centre. They even did not think once that the examination are being conducted for the candidates by their money.
I wonder how harsh the CBSE authorities are? The fault lies with CBSE to make the AIEEE examination a total mess. But the candidate has to face the brunt. Since it is difficult for a person to seek the judicial remedy by staying 2000km away from Delhi as the CBSE has limitted jurisdiction to Delhi only.
Is there any forum or person who can help me to raise voice against the autocratic behavior of CBSE who is minting crores of money from this examination.
