I have send the below letter to president on India today on 26th August. I am not sure if this will resolve after that. I need all the student of IGNOU to support & Share this with thier input/experience so that can be highlighted & resolve asap.

Case Highlight
I have really been harassed by IGNOU Kolkata in last few months. My brother is pursuing BCA, 3yrs programme from IGNOU Kolkata. He has wrongly registered for 5th semester twice (Jun10 & Jan11) by Univeristy staff mistake.
Ideally, he should have registered for 6th & Final semester for Jan-11. He submitted almost 13 application to get this corrected. However, University has not updated his status yet. Somehow, he managed to attain the 6th Semester examination in Jun12 after loosing his 1 precious year of student life due to University mistake. Although, Status are not updated on website yet, he was unable to get his provisional certificate & Unable to go for further study either in IGNOU or Outside IGNOU for MCA.
Further, IGNOU does allow Gurdian to speak & understand the problem in student behalf. I have emailed to all the email address available on webstie including VC. I have not seen any proper action yet, I am chasing up on this case from last 5 months. I have not seen any positive action taken.
Problem Highlight
IGNOU is one of the Old & reputed Open univeristy. There is 1000 thousand of student taking admission to this university for thier education. Most of them either work somewhere or not financial strong to go for regular Degree.
I have seen you being the recent Visitor of this university and Honourable President of India, So I am writing this email to you. The following problem which I have been observed for IGNOU on google or IGNOU website or RTI site or other site. However, I still could not see complaint numbers in decreasing order. There is 100 Hundred of complaint case realted to Student Grievance are on pending status.. Further, there is no RTI approach for this university. Please see the below problem which I have observed :
Student are not getting thier Course Material on Time
Examination Registration Date are close one day before the deadline
Examination place are worngly set on Hall Ticket
Examination Hall Ticket are send after one month of Examination
Student are not getting thier Grade Card update on Time (no Deadline & approach Matrix is in Place)
Student are not getting Migration/Provisional Certificate
University Staff/Teachers misbehave
Guardian are not allow to enter into IGNOU premises Kolkata
Guardian are not allow to speak for Student
Guardian are being insulted by IGNOU Staff Kolkata
Cash asked from Student for correcting mistake done by IGNOU Staff. NO RECEIPT IS PROVIDED
Student take 3 yrs Programme which take them to complete even 5-6 yrs. Becuase improper timing submission of documnet by univeristy Branch to Headoffice.

Since IGNOU is running a Higher Education Industry. It has lot of branch all over India. It has name of our former Prime Minister (Smt. Indira Gandhi).
I would request you to please look into this matter on urgent basis. Please enforce a disciplinary action without warning all the person who is find guilty during course of investigation. This is a very Urgent Matter because its relate to Student Career & development. Please allow Guardian to speak for student as sometime its tough for child to take all the decision. They need guidlines & support. So, The Student & Guardian could be on same Page of Knowledge. Please arrange to reduce this Grievance at Zero Level accross the country. Please also involve some External member in RTI with 2 years of changes to resolve this issue immediately. No cash transaction should involve. I vouleenter to work for IGNOU to resolve this Issue.
I hope a positive & correction action as soon as possible.
