SMS not going, service center error

Hi,

I am using BSNL vennela plus plan,

When i message my friends 2 sms's are going. i.e. original duplicate message.

I was requested customer care for solution. They said, messages&-gt;settings&-gt;sending options&-gt; service center ' 919442099997'.

Remove this service center. clear it. Now restart. put the same number.

I did the same. But i was unable to put " " sign. because it doesn't giving me option to put " ". so i entered "919442099997".
