Dear Sir/ Madam,
As discussed with you, I had specifically followed the procedure for disconnection of the above Telephone in end November. I am surprised to receive a bill for Rs.202.25 towards the period from 03.01.08 to 02.02.08, inspite of repeated reminders sent to you. It is very strange that after continuous requests to you for disconnecting the line, you have failed to do the same within time.
It is to be highlighted that after the request for disconnection, no call was made, but still you have raised a bill for that period towards monthly rent without any call charges in the month of December ’07 . The same was paid and a copy of the same is being enclosed for your perusal. Again you are claiming charges for Jan’08, without any usage. In fact there is no connection in the instrument, for which you are asking for charges.
Please note that I am a 79 year old lady and will not allow you to harass me by negligence of your duty and inability to attend to customer’s requirement. Hence you are advised to do the needful immediately and withdraw the bill as mentioned above. It is needless to mention that I have kept certain amount as deposit which may be refunded and the instrument taken away by you.
Please confirm that nothing is due against me and the line is permanently disconnected.
