I purchase a Dell XCD28 Android cell phone 6 months back with one year replacement warranty, when i started using this phone it gets auto-restarted while am on call & call gets disconnected. i thought this is the problem with only my handset but when i went to Dell service centre there were 5 to 6 customers at that time with the same issue with the same handset.
My handset was replaced with another repaired handset (although company claims phone will be replaced with a new/fresh handset before purchasing), when i received replacement it has the same problem with an additional one which is charging problem, it was not getting charged.
Again i submitted the handset at service centre for replacement & its almost 15 days now i am waiting for a replacement but they are telling me it will take more & more time. i am fed-up calling them again & again & their excuses.
When i asked service centre guys what is the problem with this handset they said its an internal hardware issue & most of the XCD28 phones have this issue & company has stopped its production now.
I want to know in a democratic country like India who gave the right to the company to cheat/dupe people using their brand name & introducing faulty product in the market. If there is an issue with a product why don't company recall all the defected pieces and replace them with some other model which does not have problem or refund the money when company has stopped the production for the same product & can't replace the phone with a new one.
Isn't there anyone who can take action against this company & set an example for the future so that any company will not dupe the customers & common people.
