I had purchased an Air Conditioner of Fedders make 0.75 Capacity from M/s.N.R. Enterprises, Residency Road, Jammu/Channi Himmat, Jammu. on 13.06.2007. The dealer at the time of purchase gave 5 years' guarantee for the compressor at the time of delivery of the said Air Conditioner. Though, the AC supplied by him did not work satisfactorily yet the dealer persuaded me on the pretext that the working of AC was fine as he has checked all working parameters of the machine. Now, at the start of this summer I switched on the said AC on 14.04.2010 which worked for 5 minutes and after that it stopped. I gave a number of rings to the concerned dealer on his two mobile numbers but he did not pick up the phone. Ultimately, I succeeded to talk to him on 19.04.10 after constant dialing. The said dealer talked to me in a ridiculous and non-professional manner. Still I requested him to attend to my complaint but he refused to do so on the pretext that the Fedders Company has closed down its business and he is not responsible to attend to the complaints of this company. I, therefore, request that an appropriate solution for resolving the issue may kindly be provided so that my hard earned money is not wasted.
