I bought a Fly B430 model on 04/02 from Poorvika Mobile Stores, Kodambakkam, Chennai, for Rs 3650.
It is a dual sim mobile with a pretty reasonable cost for the kind of features and looks it packs within.
I did a slight survey of the latest and good looking mobiles with reasonably good features and found this model to be suiting my needs. So, i opted this particular model and bought it.
Just after 3 days of using it the Airtel service provider send's out a service message saying the mobiles IMEI number is invalid and the mobile will be blocked after 09/02. Meanwhile i started finding out as to what has to be done in order to get this rectified and when i inquired from Airtel customer care was asked to send out a message with "IMEI " to 121.
Which i did send out the message via Airtel number/sim, and also the same message i sent it out through Vodafone number/sim.
All of a sudden after some time my vodafone number gets invalid, and no more I am able to use this vodafone number, where as if i insert the sim in some other mobile, i am able to use the same with ease.***1. This was a breach of trust and undue advantage of vodafone, that they have taken, and the liberty to exercise such an act by them without my consent as a service availing customer.***
As an alternative to this when i approached Poorvika Mobile Stores, to provide me with a solution for this, they are not supportive enough to answer to my disability of using the mobile when they have completely breached the conduct of trust, i.e. ***2. while selling the model they have completely kept me blind about the fact that i might face such a problem of the SIM card or IMEI number if i were to buy this mobile and are now non-cooperative about getting me an alternative model or any other solution for i had bought the mobile not more than 1 week before.***
More over, ***3. its a dissapointment that the company FLY which I trusted for being the brand that I appreciated for bringing out such a model and being a market player in mobile stream from past few years, and have been a prominently featured company on any mobile stores with people being able to hold out a product which has a face value, have also not been able to take a stance and release only such models that which a consumer will be totally and fully satisfied with.***
I request here to those whom so ever this concerns, please come through with an action plan to curb any such breach of trust and misgivings and ensure the return of total value for the goods and services.
