Repeatitive Complaints of Noise and Vibration in Indoor Unit

Dear Concerned,

This is to inform that I purchased Hitachi Split AC-1.5 Ton in the month of April model RASO18HQDP Machine Serial No. SE-101bo8470 and Customer ID 1004016118. And since long this is giving trouble like Swing making noise, Indoor unit vibrating a lot and all these complaint you can check from your database of Complaint Management system, Recently also complaint was registered Complaint no. 098100901136, where Indoor unit was very noisy while Compressor is on. This was attended week back and technician told me that unit is not noisy so some senior technician will visit and do Inspection. Today my AC unit was attended and Technician agreed that Unit is noisy and this is due to front panel of indoor unit which has loosened up due to dismantling of Front panel during servicing done earlier. So he provided some packing’s by inserting paper and thread in the area where locks are provided. I asked the technician that this is only temporary solution to the problem and front panel should have been changed instead. But he told me that Company does not change Front panel as plastic parts are not covered under warranty. My submission is that Front panel has loosened because to carelessness of your earlier technician then for that why CONSUMER is be penalised. Infact same thing I have written in the complaint sheet also which can be cross checked.

After this regarding problem in my split AC, again service engineer Mr. Sukhbeer (09311106195) from Hitachi visited and replaced the Front Panel but problem has still not been resolved, Now they r saying that there is a problem in installation wall ie. Vibrations is coming from Wooden Board on which indoor unit is mounted. I have a point that why till date no problem was there since it got installed in April they r trying to find problem everywhere except the real cause ie. INDOOR UNIT which is making noise/vibration due to faulty functioning.

Now you can very well understand that every time engineers are visiting and giving their logic for NOISE/VIBRATIONS COMING in Indoor Unit. Finally I would simply request HITACHI COMPANY to arrange for the replacement of Indoor Unit with new one as so many times my AC Indoor unit has been opened/closed and now I am not willing to continue further with this practice anymore. Hope you understand my situation who has spend Rs. 36000/- (going for most expensive AC in market) and still facing problem. Please arrange for NEW INDOOR UNIT so that I also enjoy trouble free peaceful nights. Hope this is fine.

Again the unit got repaired in the month of Feb.2011 in presence of your engineer Mr. Mudit (Customer Care manager-9311104199), but as it was winter so after initial testing the unit was closed and was not subject to long running to judge the performance. But form yesterday I operated the A/C unit and again it has started making noise. Request you to pls. intervene as after so many visits of your executives unit is not functioning properly. Pls. arrange for the replacement. You can very well understand my situation where I am perusing for the complaint resolution again and again

PLEASE ARRANGE FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE INDOOR UNIT WHICH IS HAVING MANUFACTURING DEFECT.
