My IFB Supremo washing Machine has been under the Company's Annual
Maintenance Contract from the date of Purchase. The current ICR No. 23695 dated
29.8.2009 valid for the period 22.9.2010 to 21.09.2011. I had made a complaint on 28.11.2010 listing in detail the various problems and lack of due service by the company even though several complaints are made and I have spoken several times to IFB's own representative. The call centre is useless. the Franchise does'nt bother to respond at all.
Once again the machine broke down on 17.12.2010 and I lodged a complain on 18.12.2010. The servive men claimed that a belt has to be changed and that it would cos around Rs. 1000/- I agreed, but till date they have not bothered to have the belt replaced, even htough I have called them every da. They keep saing they are on the way, will complete the job before the end of the day., etc., but even after a lapse of nine days, the belt is yet to be changed.
The quality of service is very poor and the service men competence is also very low, when they attend to one problem, they end up damaging the machine in some other manner and consequently the machine is down for most of the days in any month.
Any number of complaints directly to IFB and talking to the IFB representative in Chennai just does not make any difference at all and the company continues to be deficient in rending service under the Annual maintenance Contract.
