I am Vidyacharan of Chennai. We had purchased an IFB washing machine 2 years ago. The product is under AMC&Annual Maintenance Contract. We have been paying over Rs.1500 every year under the name of AMC. We had a problem with the washing machine over two months ago. We filed a complaint on 12 /11 with the customer care/service center. We have been contacting them every day almost from that time. They say their people will come and rectify the problem within 24 hrs. But that has never happened. I live with my grandparents and they are senior citizens. They are already having their own health problems. They have been trying hard to contact those people. They simply point their finger at another person and thats all. In the end, there is no response. We have contacted all people from the lowest to highest levels in their company. I can even produce the list of dates on which I contacted them and whom i contacted. We would have contacted 15 different people but with no use. I have only been running my phone bills. We were forced to cancel our schedules waiting for them. We had to request our neighbours to take care if they turn up etc. But it has all gone in vain. This cant go on any further. I don't mind taking this matter to the court.

I give a deadline of 2 days. Despite this, if they don't turn up, I want a compensation of Rs. 30, 000 for the mental stress and torture my grandparents had underwent due to these people and a new washing machine.
