Asking for money in warranty

Have purchased a refrigerator 190 ltr. model no. KD195M-A from M/S Sia Enterprises T-583/2/1, Gali No. 2, Baljeet Nagar, New Delhi110008, on 08/06. now it has stopped cooling and when checked by their service deppt. they are asking for Rs. 1043 for replacement of faulty compressor. my refrigerator is already under warranty of 5 yrs., then why they are demanding money.
