Spareparts not availables

We have purchased LG refrigator few years back with model no. LG GL 296TM . We have contacted customer care for some plastic iteam like tray is broken over a period of time but they are unable to provide the spare part as the model is stopped by them. My question to them then what should customer do with that fridge where tray and veg. box is in bad shape. They are forcing customer to sell the old one and buy new one, wrong practice by the company.
