Milton Thermosteel carfe 600 ml
Plastic top has been damaged

Hi myself Dilip Mali. I have purchase one Milton Carafe 600 ml tea pot, but in few days it's top plastic cap has been broken.

Please give the appropriate reason for the same how can the plastic part has been damaged. If it is possible to replace the part.
