This mail is reference to poor services & product offered by Nokia to its customer.
Here I would like to once again highlight complete issue for your better understanding.
1.I am Territory Manager in one of the leading MNC of India & for business purpose I bought E-75.
2.In August I bought E-75 fm Mobile Store Bhopal worth Rs 25, 000.(IMEI No : 356815502283563).
3.On 17th June display of my mobile suddenly went off, I approached to Nokia Care Centre at Jabalpur (Sapna Telecom) who said that there is some internal
damage happened in Display Screen & they have to Change it. I was bit surprise as without any external damage how cum my Display screen damaged internally.
They have also told me that breakage or damages are not covered under warranty period.
4.I am on senior profile & handling more then 150 employees of the company. Switching off mobile for one day means huge loss of business for me. Hence just to
avoide any further delay, I approved them to change display of my mobile. Surprisingly they changed display in just 5 minutes & haven't shown me the damaged peice.
When I asked them to give me replaced part but they said that Nokia is not having policy to give replaced parts to the customers.
They charged 2502/- for that display change that too in warranty period. Just to infom you that all this happened without any Jobsheet & in your customer contact
history there are no records available for change of display on above IMEI number 356815502283563, which I Confirmed with Nokia care at Bhopal. Please find the
receipt no. 4680 in the attached scanned document.
5.After that my mobile started creating problems & wasn't running smoothly, wen approached again to Nokia care they told me that it was b'coz of new part
replaced part & will run smoothly after some time. Ideally they have cheated me b'coz they have never ever replaced Display of my hndset & used my same display
by correcting small problem. For that they charged Rs 2502/-
6.On 6th July I was going to Sydney (Australia) on official trip & at Airport itself display of my mobile again Vanished. In the whole trip I couldn't remained
connected with my family & business associates in India. It was big business & emotional loss I faced during those 6 days just b'coz of NOKIA.I returned fm
Sydney on 11th & approached Nokia Care (Sapna Telecom). This time they told me there is some slider belt problem which is not available with them & will
need 5-7 days to repair above mobile. On 12th June (Exactly after 24days of display change) they have taken my mobile for repalcement of parts & generated
Job sheet No. 727504867/100712/26 with a 5-7 days commitment of handing over my mobile to me.(Copy is attached with Scan Docs)
7. After 7 days I made so many calls & visits to Nokia care for delivery of my Mobile but they said they haven't recieved parts yet.
8.On 19th july I also registered my Complaint on Nokia Customer Care No.080 30303838 which is
still not resolved. I was without my mobile for almost a month, after lots of follow ups & your help I got my mobile on 10th of August (after almost 29 days). They
again charged me Rs 1331 (attached is the copy of bill no.5070 dated 10/08). At that time only my legal advisor suggested to raise this issue to consumer
forum but again I consoled my self as I was not having that free time.
9. On 21st Oct I went to Singapore on Official trip & during this trip again my display gone & again I was totally helpless, was not connected to my family &
business for almost 6days. Now I am in India & my E-75 handset is totally off. It is showing no display & also not getting on. There is huge loss of business I faced
in last few months just b'cpz of poor product & service quality of NOKIA.For me slogan of Nokia shud not be Connecting People, rather it should be
"Disconnecting & Disappointing People"
9.Today I again registered my complaint with Nokia call centre (Complaint Id 1/1124082190). If requried I can also provide you copy of my passport which
will prove my immigration to Sydney & Singapore during above stated dates.
Looking into all the business losses & mental harrasement which I faced in the last 3 months due to poor Product & Servises of Nokia, I have decided to launch my complaint to Consumer forum.
My Overall Greivance which I have with Nokia are :-
A.Sale of Poor Quality Product that too in premium Price band of INR 25000.
B.Poor after sales service network. Leading brand like Nokia took 29 days to return my mobile that too after rigrous follow up.
C.Promoting Unethical business practices, cheating there customers by charging for replacement of parts which ideally never replaced.
D.Causing losses & mental Harrasment to there customers by selling poor products & services.
E.Pathetic Customer Care & Call Centre services, never reply back to the customer on his grievances & also as per defined TAT.
F.Inefficient & untrained servicing staff not able to fix up problems in one go.
I am highly disappointed with the services of Nokia & I will never ever suggest anyone in my Company/Peer group to buy NOKIA in near future. When you are doing this
with high end user customers like me who bought mobile of Rs 25000/- then I am really afraid with the kind of service nokia provides to ur customer of middle segment.
Also to make consumers more aware about your such pathetic services I am planning to publish story of your all services & cheating in local newspapers along with all
The product & services which Nokia promised & provided to me is totally breach of service contract & Hence I am forced to register this issue to Consumer Forum
for all the losses & mental harrasement I faced just b'coz of your product & services.
This mail was just to register my complaint formally to Nokia & concerned authorities who are responsible for my greivance.
