Hi,
I bought a Nokia Phone (model No 5233) from Planet M retail Ltd, Shop No:- 138, Noida-38 The Great India Place mall, on 02/08.
Initially I did not require to use FM's so I did not check it whether it is working or not. However when I inserted the pin of the head set and tried to listen to the FM it did not work and the phone got hung up. I reported this incidence to the above dealer on 11/08, and asked him to replace the hand set as there is a manufacturing defect in the handset. The dealer did not even looked at the phone and told me that I have to go to the Nokia service centre and get it repaired.
I want to register a complaint that the hand set should be replaced because it is faulty as I never used FM and when I used it is was not working moreover it is just 8 days ago I bought this product. So ehy should I go and get it it repaired from a service centre.
Also the dealer asked me to go to the consumer court and try my luck. Its really shame the this is the attitude of a shopkeeper toewards a consumer.
I want strict action to be taken against the managers Adnan Meer and Amit Rajput. I have a letter with me which says the they will not tkae responsibility of any goods even if there is a manufacturing defect after 48 hrs.
I want to know that when any one buys any product is it necessary to use all the applications with in 48 hrs? i mean if I dont want to listen to music I have to check it. Does this makes any sense.
I want an immidiate action on this and I want this faulty handset to be replaced immidiatly.
