I tried sending this complaint to easyday, bhartiretail ltd umpteen times but in vain.store people refused to provide any email or phone to lodge it.
I am writing to inform about certain unhygienic practices being adopted at your easyday store at plot3 karnail singh nagar phase-2 pakhowal road ludhiana.
first of all today when i entered the non-veg section it was emanating stinking smell of putrefying chicken and meats lying in plastic bags on shelves in the open and around (which as per the store manager was meant to be thrown out, being leftovers as well as dumped meat/chicken of previous two three days, left unsold it being a tuesday, yesterday).
secondly many cartons of cold drinks mostly dirty and old were stacked in the non-veg section along with other boxes with very little space to stand in there and also such could surely contaminate the open food. the person cutting chicken wears only one glove, meat is not washed nor the dressing table is clean or the knives are.
lastly I had on earlier occasions too had complained to staff to maintain good cleanliness there, today the manager begged me not to call local health authorities and save his job.then i told him about the way supplies of chicken / fish being brought in polybags in open rickshaws or autos without any ice or sealable box killing the very purpose of your cleanliness in store or refrigerators.
