I am a food loverand i have visited almost all the restaurants in chennai and hyderabad and i really expect a gud value for my money i pay. i am totally frustrated about the guindy sangeetha.
i really had a worst experience yesterday evening... for years i am a gud customer of sangeetha group of hotels infact i always dine in sangeethas, where ever i go, i like egmore branch the most and the veg briyani in mylapore sangeetha, and almost i like all the items in vel sangeetha, i have lunch everyday in vel sangeetha.
but this is about the guindy sangeetha yesterday oct 3rd 9pm in the eveng i went to this place with my family and opted for an A/C Dining.
1.had trouble with parking
2.the place is not clean and tidy
3.the service was not good
4.the waiters were rude and the response were not good.
5.the place was small and noisy.
6.the A/C was not working well.
7.Let me tell you about the food, everybody in chennai would love to have a pleasent and a tasty dinner on a sunday eveng and i am not an exception.
i ordered
1 plate of idly
veg fried rice
chilli parotta
paneer butter masala
3 butter naan
and gobi 65 with aquafina
The idly was not cooked properly
the fried rice and the paneer butter masala were not upto the mark, i specified it to be spicy but they didnt add salt even and the gobi 65 was crispy but no salt in it, chilli parota was ok, i dont know why they add chenna on it. everything was missing with something in the tase and we all felt bad, we didnt feel like eating.
the butter naan???
i was like biting a rubber i still have the pain in my jaws couldnt chew a bit, not even a single item was good. i called the supervisor and informed abut this, he doesnt seem to answer or care he stood calm and left, i told him to reduce the charges for the butter naan or the food items we couldnt consume, but the gave us the bill for all the items, we thought jus leaving the place and the waiter came and started saying that the idly were properly cooked but since it was rava idli (we didnt order it) it was like that, if that is the case i am damn sure that they are making the world's worst rava idlis. and he said that we should consume the butter naan immediately to enjoy the softness because it is in a/c, believe me i ve been through all the a/c restaurants and dhabas and it never happenned to me, the preparation it self was not good and these people started giving gyans to the customers, i gave them nicely and left this is too bad.
anyone want to dine in sangeethas please prefer velacherry rather guindy.
