So many fitness centers are opened in the recent times in various parts of our country. Employers are approaching this lucrative business without concentrating on hiring professionals to render satisfactory customer services. Fitness centers (especially branded fitness centers) have become a paradise for school drop outs to earn huge money by working as fitness trainers, even without knowing the mere basics of human body. Such people also casually violate the ethics of handling female customers in the gym premises and the employers also simply ignore such violations as they are getting money at the end of the day. A large number of people have lost several important things of their life by subscribing membership in such fitness clubs but remain silent as they don't have time to go to consumer court. Government of India should be aware of this haphazard state of fitness industry (especially branded fitness clubs) in India to take necessary steps to set up stringent regulations. The public should be aware of the actual scenario of fitness centers and just not lose money/health/reputation by subscribing fitness club membership. Even if public is interested to go to a fitness club, they should keep demanding the services included in their subcription till they derive them.
