Hi I am a doctor by profession, was working in the Medanta the medicity hospital, I took leave for a period of 15 days from 22 of Dec to 6 of Jan but at that time I told that I might be on leave for more days as I had a family dispute, so I stayed on leave for 22 more days, at that time I even requested that I have worked every night at the beginning of my job for a period of 10 to 15 days, even when there was not enough staff we worked extra-time, so please if I stay for more days please convert my these extra days as leave, and when I reported back to hospital I was told that I was absent from the work it amount abandonment of employment, so they cannot allow me to work. I requested that I had a family problem so I stayed those extra days on leave. But all my request were turned to deaf ear, even I was told that they tried to contact me they have me 2 phone number that I provided at the time of joining the hospital, I also gave them number of one of my friend to contact me in case of emergency, they also have my email id that I provided, they are saying that they tried to contact me but I wasn't available. Its true that my phone wasn't working, but my another number was working, my email id was working, my address is still same they could have sent me a letter as they have sent me a letter immediately, when I reported back. They are accusing me that I was the only one who was on the fault, but they do not accept the fact that they do not even tried to contact me. I have tried, I requested by all means, but they are saying that I should have informed them about extra leave. well I may be on fault but, all faults are not from my side. I don't know what to do, I am writing you, with hope that I will get a reasonable and amicable solution for that problem.
