Sir,
On 11.04. I purchased the tablets - Montek LC kid Tab, for my son aged 7 years, from M/s. AMUDAM Pharmacies (P) Ltd {Franchise of PASUMAI pharmacies India (P) Ltd., 246, Theni main road, Kalavasal, Madurai - Ph 0452-4500828. While opening the tablets I came to understand from the cover that the price previously mentioned as Rs.73/- in faded manner but the price neatly printed afterwards as Rs.46/- . It may be due to expired medicines sale. I did not allow my son to take the tablets and I contacted the pharmacy for which they told me to come and replace the same. I did not go there & I am having the bill for tablet. At this juncture,
1. Is it correct selling of such medicines? Who is responsible for this?
2. Without such awareness (in this case also incidentally I have noticed) nobody can identify the expiry medicines. Adverse repercussion may also come after taking such medicines. Who will be fixed for such lapses?
3. To remove such irresponsibility from the society, suitable action to be taken
