Purchased Beetel Telephone M85 through the web site maintained by the Bharati Group Enterprise. The said model phone is advertised as white phone, a reason for purchasing the unit. But the company has supplied Black phone without any prior intimation since the payment was made through credit card as specified in the online portal. The omission is brought to the notice of the company by email and expressed black phone is not acceptable. The company is reluctant to concede the omission comitted by the company Instead the company replied that White phones are not manufactured by the company and the model depicted in the website is being changed as per my suggestion, without conceding my request though I have not suggested to change the color of the phone in the website of the company. I conclude that the Company is not competent enough to run the online shopping since the consumer right is neither protected nor conceded. Regulation of this type of immature activity of online shopping shall be the prime objective of the Forums to protect the confidence reposed by the customers.
