On 26th of jul between 4pm and 6pm i have gone to Airtel office in bennerghatta road banglore and i have made payment towards my account and the account number is 15728090 and my broadband number is 08042094785 also i have mentioned to downgrade my plan. They have requested me to call the airtel customer service. As per their request i have called up the airtel customer service from the airtel office and i have used their landline number to call the customer service. I have spoken to the customer care executive and spoke almost 15 minutes and his footprints are there in the account, which i have confirmed.i have requested him to downgrade my broadband plan from 1699 unlimted 1mbps package to 899 unlimited 512 browser package.and he has informed me that he has done the work for me and my plan will change within the next 3 working days.unfortunately it din't happen.when i received the bill in the month of augest i have seen some discount and i thought it is tghe rental adjustment from the previous plana as well as the current plan.but when i have received my septemebr bill i was shocked that the rental is 1699 instead of 899.I called up the customer care again on 18/09 and i have explained the executive regarding this they have informed me that there is no order placed for downgrading my broadband plan.i have asked him to escalate the call and i spoke to another person and he has informed me that he will send it to the complaints department (SR number is37802018
) and they will deal. I have got a call from airtel and her name is samitha and she asked me whether you have any SR (service request number). As i have informed her that he hasn't given any number.then she has informed me that she cannot do anything. I told her when i called airtel BB customer serice it was not mentioned that i need to collect a service number.she was keep on saying that she can't do anything. I asked her to transfer the call to her manager.she transfered to her superior and her name is vanitha and i have explained the situation again, even she also started asking the SR number which i din't get it from Airtel.she has checked the account and she has informed me that you have enq about the Broadband plan. I told her plz listen to the call as your calls are recorded and she has informed me that it was almsot two months back it can't pull out.and i know they keep recorded calls for almost 6 months and she was keep on asking the SR number and hung up the call, but before she hung i have informed her that don't close this compalint. Also when i have taken this broadband i havn't taken any contract.
so my complaint to Airtel is i want to downgrade my plan from 1699 to 899 unlimted browser plan and i want a backdated rental from 26/07.and i havn't agreed any contract with Airtel if i have any contract this product is a missold which one Mr binoy has done (who is a TL or manager and i have his number). And also I have made chargeable calls to airtel customer from an another number (080414465262) which i don't want pay... hope you people will be aable to help me in this case.
