I have purchased a USB 3G modem (Micromax) with a maximum speed of 7.2Mbps and recharged my prepaid connection no 9457715770 for Rs.100/= for 3G internet services and using it my desktop (Zenith core 2 quad with a ram of 4 GB). However to my utter surprise no signal for 3G is available in my residential area i.e. Tajnagari Phase II near Parsvnath Panchvati in Agra (There is a 3 block of a 15 storied building constructed in front of Panchvati). I donot know the reason. the connection can work on EDGE/GPRS with a maximum speed of 11kbps some times with intermittent speed i.e. the transmission and receiver signal have gap s of 1 to 2 seconds beween to signals. this fact was best known to the officer there, as he advised me to go for a smaller recharge of my sim to test the service. My SIM was for 2G but he asked me to get it recharge for 3G and it willautomatically be converted to 3G. This is as per the statement of te staff. Please forward my complaint to te authority to get it corrected.
