I wanted to take a broadband connection for my house. Searched for the options via justdial. Initially planned to go with Reliance, but then got a call from a BSNL salesperson giving details of the plans. Unfortuantely fell for the plan. That was on 02.10.2010. I was told to be ready with the necessary documents etc, and the tone tricked me into believing that everything would be done the very same day!

agreed it was a bit naive to believe that, but ever since the response i get from BSNL has been utterly unprofessional and terribly irresponsible. I've been calling up several numbers and passing on their information from one department to the other. the sales people promised that it would be installed last week (been 5 days since that deadline), but the people on the execution front dont seem to have a clue. superb co-ordination. finally its the customer who has to suffer.

typical government organization. pitiful state of affairs.
