Slow internet connection

I have broadband connection since last month or so, speed was very good, but then internet connection was off for about a week due to some unknown problem. after trying almost everyday to reconnect internet it was resumed but now the speed is very low.

Initially I was getting almost on an average 40-45kbps downloading speed and now its hardly 20-22

I have 750Rs per month unlimited plan.

Please help.
