This is case regarding the Reliance Telephone Connection along with Broadband connection. I just want to aware the innocent people of India that don’t get trapped in the hands of Reliance Broadband & Telephone Connection. I m telling you how Reliance People is minting money from the innocent people.
In June I got installed a landline connection (0160-3012820) and broadband connection at my residence in Sunny Enclave, Mohali. I got Unlimited Plan for Broadband (Rs. 450/- plan). But, I must tell you that the speed of internet is worst then any other company.
After seeing the fastest speed of Reliance Broadband (which I’m not used to), I decided to disconnect it. So, I placed a request for the disconnection of Broadband connection in 10th Oct’2009. On 24th of October the connection was disconnected. On 3rd November the reliance people took the modem from my residence and gave me signed document stating that they have collected the modem. My billing cycle is from 23rd – 24th. In November I received the bill for Rs. 711/-, it included the charges of Broadband (Rs. 441/-), which was disconnected. Accidentally, I paid the whole amount. My broadband connection was disconnected in October but Reliance charged me in November. So, I paid Rs. 441/- extra in November. I thought that it will be adjusted in bill of December. But again I received the bill of December for Rs. 713/- It again included the charges of Broadband connection (Rs. 441/-). I didn’t paid that one. I called up the customer care about this. They assured that this will be rectified soon. They just adjusted Rs. 57/- . I think these people thought that I’m a kid just give a lollipop of Rs. 57/- to me and I will keep that sucking that. Now, their local office is calling me again and again to pay the bill. I m calling to customer care again and again to adjust this thing but all in vain. My complaint fell on deff ears of Reliance people. I don’t know how these people doing their work. One fact is there, Reliance became a large group just by minting money from innocent people by hook or crook. Now, I m going to take action against these people by complaining in Consumer forum regarding billing problem and harassment caused by their local recovery department. I urge the people of India plz plz don’t go for Reliance Broadband / Landline Connection.
