We have started two web site projects with BlueTooth InfoData Solutions (Bisplgroup) and in both instances they assured us that we would see a quick turnaround due to the fact that they had designed and programmed similar web sites for our competitors.
For the first project, our contract with Bisplgroup stated that the site would be designed, programmed, and bug tested within 2 months. However, they delivered very poor design work to us and we had to contract a 3rd party to provide the artwork. This set the project back a couple additional weeks, but Bisplgroup assured us that design work was not their strength, programming was, and since they had programmed our competitors' site, they would be able to complete ours without delay. Wrong! The programming was so buggy that we were never able to go live with the site. It simply did not work correctly. Please keep in mind, this was not a complicated site, especially since they claimed to have done similar programming work in the past. As a result, we reported Bisplgroup to Elance and they were forced to discontinue their membership and are no longer available for contract work. We asked for our money back, but it was never returned. Several weeks later though, we were contacted by Bisplgroup with a request to take down the negative feedback we left for them on Elance, in exchange for a refund.
The second project was of a larger scale, but again they assured us that they had done similar work before and that we would see a turnaround time of 4 months. They also agreed to deeply discount the project cost from $80, 000 to $18, 000 if we let them partner with us as soon as we started generating income. We agreed and provided them with the artwork, site layout, etc. It has been 10 months and our website is still not complete. They actually stopped working on our site (without telling us) for a period of 6 weeks because they were busy with another project. They claim that our project is nearly complete, but the programming is so buggy that it is un-useable. Links are broken, buttons don't work, it simply does not function correctly.
We have requested our money back and to date they have yet to provide us with any refund.
