On 21st March I made payments for the contest running at 100bestbuy.com - the website is so pathetic that it did not capture my e-mail ID and address details. So, it accepted the payments without actually registering me.
After continously following up with them (lots of e-mails and phone calls to their customer care who are never reachable) - i finally managed to get my details updated into their records.
The contest rules said i would receive an e-mail on the contest results (even if i am not the winner) which did not happen. Then i used my credit points to buy some merchandise from the site on 10th Apr - order # 3552188. They claim to have the shipments delivered in a week - but its already been more than 20 days since the oder is placed but i have NOT yet received the goods. I keep receiving their automated e-mails every alternate week saying they are unable to ship because of some unavoidable circumstances - which they never provide details of!
I have written to their customer care and their complaints department who never rely back. I also called upto their customer care number of times but like i mentioned they are never reachable.
I have started having this feeling that - 100bestbuy.com is a fraud company. And they are cheating people with their catchy e-mail advertisements.
