The adsl light did not show up in my modem so the very next day I registered a complaint on 198 (their so called complaint number) 2 weeks passed nobody got back to me... so I called on 1504 & they told me if you have any problems then register on 198 & they hung up before i could tell them i already have done that. Later, I called again on 1504, this time insisting on sending a technician to check as it had been more than a month. No response.
After one and half month I call again (I am still paying the rental charges without any internet) they give me Mtnl's local telephone exchange number asking me to call them & 'request' them to visit. When i call that number, it says 'temporarily disconnected'!!!
I call on 1504 again & they give me another number. This time I* ask them why can't they call or send someone to which they reply 'Its not possible for us'
Finally i get through the other number & the mtnl service center person replies 'we'll send someone today itself' I asked him to note the address to which he said 'we don't need that, we'll check with the registered complaints' & hung up the phone!
They call up next day asking if internet is working fine... which we said no, they said 'ok' & hung up!!!
Till date nobody has called or visited to check. I am discontinuing with the service. I would never ever recommend Mtnl broadband to anyone. It sucks!
