Form the last One Year I'm getting speed less than 0.1 Mbps. They told me I'll be getting speed up to 3.1 Mbps, but it never reached above 1.2 Mbps that too rarely, for 3 to 5 days after log a call in MTS. For most of the days (90%) the speed was less than 0.5 Mbps. Whenever I chat with the customer care, they ask me to switch off my firewall. As soon I register complaint the speed increases, and after 3 to 5 days it again reduces to less than 0.1 Mbps. The funny thing is that nobody attends to the problem. The problem is resolved temporarily just by registering the complaint. Then they call you up, you say that you can remove the complaint as now there are no issues with the speed (Here I'd like to emphasize that when I say no issues I mean that speed has increased from 0.1 to 1.0 Mbps, which is nowhere around 3.1 Mbps). Then they disconnect the call and within an hour the speed reduces. I'm not sure what technicalities are involved but I'm suspicious that it is a theft. To me it seems that these ISPs are not providing transparent services. I am paying Rs 999 a month for broadband speed, and whenever I perform a speed test, it comes out to be 0.13 - 0.14 Mbps which means that they are providing me only browsing speed which is free once 15 GB is over. My connection Log says it is about 6-7 GB. True, connection log cannot be used for billing purposes, but how can there be so much difference? I am very very dissatisfied with MTS and will be more than happy to return their modem if they can return the cost of modem my 999 Rs. and hos expert do miss behaviour with me when i call hia customer care.
