Sanvera Solutions, Ramesh Prasad
Took our money, delivered no work and refuses to provide a refund! Kolkata West Bengal

We were using a freelancer site and hired Sanvera Solutions (GAFSanvera, Ramesh Prasad) for a couple of projects, a Web Security project and Completion of Website project. One of my colleagues made the mistake of releasing the money from our escrow account to the provider. We thought this mistake would be alright since this company seemed to be reputable because of their positive feedback from other companies.

The problems began right away as we didn't hear from them after the payment was made. We sent several emails and tried to contact them using various methods and received no response. Only after we contacted the admin of the freelancer site and had their account frozen did Ramesh Prasad contact us asking us to remove our complaint.

He went on to explain that their server had crashed and they needed a new server. But this still didn't explain why he didn't respond to our attempts to contact him. Below is an IM conversation we had concerning the complaint;

rkprules: hi
rkprules: so u dont believe that i was in trouble?

tcooley: The problem wasn't whether we believed you were in trouble or not. The problem was that we had a deadline to meet and we received no contact from you regarding updates.

rkprules: still 20 days left for the project
rkprules: still 20 days left for the project

tcooley: We were supposed to receive updates every 2 days. We received nothing and had to find someone else to complete the project.

rkprules: so u found some1 else?
rkprules: ok then cool, i must refund ur $$, can u please inform gaf support
rkprules: so that they can activate my account and hence i make a refund to u

tcooley: We had no choice. I told you from the beginning that we had dated material that was being distributed at a certain time. We couldn't continue to wait and wonder if you were ever going to contact us again.

rkprules: can u please inform gaf support, so that they can activate my account and hence i make a refund to u

tcooley: I don't know how gaf support handles such cases, but I'm sure you must contact them letting them know that you will provide a refund. Then they can instruct me of what to do from there.

rkprules: can u please inform gaf support, so that they can activate my account and hence i make a refund to u
rkprules: see u have made a complain so u must write to them if u need a refund
rkprules: write "The issues between us and GafSanvera has been resolved, please activate GafSanvera's account so that they can make a refund to us"

tcooley: I will send them an email, but I'm sure they will need your compliance in issuing a refund from your account.

So Sanvera Solutions (GafSanvera, Ramesh Prasad) had their account un-frozen so they could issue a refund. But instead of providing a refund they fled this freelancing site and can now be found on Odesk.com using Arindam C., Ananya M., Ramesh P., Babai D., Tapas P., Tinni R., Indu B., Sanvera S., Archita M., Atanu K., Rahul S., Vikram V., Rajesh P., Manish T., Chetna J and Ramesh Prasad. They have also used the profiles sanveraSol and rprasad82 on other freelancing sites, so beware of their many aliases.

This scam took place back in June and it is now October. We have given Sanvera Solutions and Ramesh Prasad every opportunity to make things right and provide us a refund. We even opened an account with Moneybookers after they agreed to pay us $50 a week until the balance was paid. This would give them 30 weeks, more than half a year to pay us our money back. We have yet to receive a single payment.

If you're considering using Sanvera Solutions or any profile names related to them (Ramesh Prasad, sanveraSol, rprasad82, Arindam C., Ananya M., Ramesh P., Babai D., Tapas P., Tinni R., Indu B., Sanvera S., Archita M., Atanu K., Rahul S., Vikram V., Rajesh P., Manish T., Chetna J) I would strongly advise you to find another company. Their portfolio may look impressive with positive feedback (although we suspect this feedback to be self produced), but you're taking a chance with them and they just might take your money and run. Sanvera Solutions has done this once so chances are they'll do it again.
