I am an NRI currently working in Saudi Arabia. As you know of there are many company's who offer BPO jobs for data conversion etc. I found one of such site/company on the Internet who offered me a project of data conversion. The company name is Advanced Computer Company and their website is 'www.accindia.com'. They are based in Calcutta. I paid them totally RS 1, 00, 000/- as the source finding fee out of which Rs 50, 000/- they took as security deposit. Finally they offered me a source company whose office is in Jogeshwari, Bombay. I submitted all the finished work to the source company as per their contract and they even informed me that they will make my payment. After that day they have totally stopped responding to my mails. Even the company to whom I made the payment through ICICI bank is not responding. The tel number on which I use to contact them in Calcutta gives a message that this number do not have incoming call facility. I believe that these two company's together are cheating people using Internet. I thought the source finding company i.e. ACC (advanced Computer Company) to whom I made the payment has closed. Just to confirm that I asked one of my friend to send an email to them asking for some data conversion offer. And to my surprise they responded to him. This means that they still exist and are still trying to cheat people.
Can I lodge a complain in this regard to you? If yes what are the details I need to submit? And what are the other procedures I will need to go through? For your information I have address of both the offices, their email correspondence, tel number on which I use to contact the Calcutta office, contract papers from both the company's and Website address of the source finding company.
I would be very grateful to you if you help me in this matter.
