I have been using your card for the last several years, especially on my overseas trips. I make the payment immediately upon use of the card and don't even wait for the due date.
I have a limit of Rs 50, 000 and applied for an add on card with an increase in limit upto Rs 1, 00, 000. I visited your branch in M.G.Road, Mumbai and submitted my my application for add on card along with a request for an increase of the limit. The lady officer at the desk scanned all pages of my income tax returns and sent it to the concerned credit card section. After verifying my Income tax Returns, she requested me to avail of Rs 5, 00, 000 as the limit. But since I wanted only Rs 1, 00, 000, I did not accept the offer of Rs 5, 00, 000 limit.
To my surpirse, I am informed today by Ms Kavita H.B.of Banglore office, that your bank cannot consider my request for increase in limit since I am 52 years old. She also said that has to try and retrieve my I.Tax Returns as it is not shown on the systems.
Does your bank have a discrimination policy of not granting Rs 1, 00, 000 limit to a person upon reaching the age of 52.
