Hi, I am writing the complaint on behalf of the residents of Shanthilayout, Ramamurthynagar, Bangalore 560 016.
I am not aware to which govt offical to be addressed for the below complaints.
Complaint :
Autorickshaw drivers in Shanthi layout and ramamurthynagar do not down the meter.
They tell one fare which has to be agreed. If questioned the passengers are scolded with vulgar words and the drivers also do not give respect even the LADIES or ELDER AGE WOMEN.
Totally the situation in these layouts is out of control, where i dont feel the MLA, Councellors or even the transport department who give licence to these autorickshaw visit whether the drivers are charging as per the rules etc.
The same if we complain to police we see that we in turn get blame and are asked to pay what is demanded.
The fares from shanthilayout to few of the location in bangalore is like below.
Shanthilayout to Ramamurthynagar - Rs 30 - Rs.40.
Shanthilayout to ITI Colony gate - Rs 50 - Rs.60.
Shanthilayout to Kalkere main road Rs 75.
Shanthilayout to Indiranagar - Rs.175
Shanthilayout to Domlur - Rs.200 During day and Rs 300 after 7.00 pm.
Shanthilayout to K R Puram Raily station Rs.100.
Shanthilayout to Madiwala/Koramangala - Rs.300 to Rs 500 During day and Rs.750 during Evening & raining times.
there are no limitations to fares and none of the officials are bothered even after written complaints.
If asked on written complaints gets a standard answer as we have not received any Complaints.
I feel like even the officials are involved or does not have the guts to control, where as the MLA's and Transport ministers in karnataka does not have time to resolve issue, rather than enjoying peace stay in forests.
Will any body address this issue or just a forum i am not sure. but have expressed the inabilty of the Governement and officials.
