Bajaj Auto Finance Ltd
Cheating the customers and then taking fine

E-mail send to "[email protected]"

Dear Sir,

This is to inform you that I, Arunasish Karmakar had bought a Bajaj Pulsar 180cc bike on 21st May. 2008. I have submitted 24 post dated cheques specially mentioned that I want the 5 HDFC Cheques to be submitted first and then the rest of the cheques to SBI.

I had even given a written notification about the submission of the Cheques (letter enclosed with this mail as attachment). Still they submitted the SBI cheque first and thus the first cheque got bounced without any fault of mine.

Now, they are submitting the SBI cheques and they are being cashed without any problem but this month your representative submitted the Cheque on 5th January and they said it got bounced and my bank statement shows that I had enough balance. When I contacted State Bank of India they clearly said that no cheques were submitted from Bajaj Finance against my account. They challenged and stated that if BAFL submitted the cheque and it got bounced then they must have given a yellow slip stating that the cheque got bounced.

State Bank of India wants that yellow slip so that they can check why the cheque got bounced.

Your representative came to my residence on 21st January stating that the cheque got bounced and I needed to pay the amount in cash with the fine.

When proven to them that I had enough balance to get that cheque cashed they stated that it must have been the Bank’s fault.

When I charged the bank they asked for proof that the cheque was produced in the bank.

Your representative and your management in Durgapur could not give me that yellow slip stating that the cheque and the yellow slip has been returned to Mumbai.

Now, tell me does your company want me to take things to court. State Bank and I am ready to fight things in the court.

Attached with this mail is the letter which was send to your Durgapur Branch office stating the sequence of Cheques.

My Bank statement where it is clear that I had enough balance in my account when they produced the cheque on 5th January.

I WANT AN URGENT REPLY FROM YOU ELSE I WILL TAKE THINGS TO COURT…

Regards,

Arunasish Karmakar,
