Bata all weather wear shoes
Defective pair of shoes

I had purchased a all weather wear pair of shoes from bata shoe store 560/23, shangrilla shopping centre, LT road, borivali West on 29/06/09 .cash memo no 9358, amount rs 1399.

Its not even a weeks time since i started wearing the shoes and the sole of the shoes has come out.

I had gone to your bata showrom (borivali) asking them for a replacement.

The manager of the showroom Mr Dev politely refused my request stating that they are not authorised to replace the shoe and best he can do is to send the shoe for repasting, which would take a further 4 days.

Its a failure on part of BATA to provide me a quality pair of shoes for which i have paid for. I

Why should Bata repaste the sole. Batas has failed on its part of assured quality.

Am i not entitled for a replacement??? why should i go for a re-pasted shoes??

I have also sent a complaint to Bata customer service desk, but am waiting for a reply from them
