Dear Sir,
This is Umakanta Mohapatro applied for the Passport in Berhampur Head Post Office.
I have been waiting for the Police verification for the past 16 months i.e. from 26/02 to 25/06 and there is no verification done till now and I have checked the status in the internet "Police Report has not been received" till the 2008 year end, now it showing "File Reference Number (BHU-A006481-08) is either wrong or Information NOT available", but there was no enquiry from police station to my home till now.
I have mailed so many times to Bhubaneswar passport office, there was no reply. Lastly I have mailed to Appellate Authority/ Chief Passport officer. From there also I have not got any reply. So, how can I know the exact status where is my application?
Sir, please help me out to know the status of my application, whether it has been sent for police verification or at whose end it is pending. It is urgent.
