Dear Sir,

I got my wife operated in the hospital & she was covered in medical claim with FHPL. Before admitting her for surgery, hospital retained 15% of expanse (~7000/-) as security money & I have to pay this from my pocket.

After 3 Months of surgery hospital returned me only Rs.2500/-. When asked they reverted with reason that 12% TAX has to be absorbed & so why they deducted the amount. I am not sure that the TAX's is applicable for medical expences. My earlier experience was different.
