Sir, on dt. 17.06.09, i bought a venus study table, by paying rs. 3999/-, vide receipt no. t15/47255. the salesman there, promised that the product would be delivered within a week. but even after 11 days there was no sign of my table. i tried to contact them through the local costom help numbers, without success. then i tried the tollfree number given on the cash memo itself, i.e.1800223050. they promised to help us. sure enough, the next day. the local management called me promising me to delivere the product within 5 days without fail. the chap also gave me the excuse that due to heavy rain in mumbai, water seeped into the product damaging it. i do not know how far this reason is true. any way he assured me that my product will be delivered within five days, this was on dt. 30.06. o9. till yesterday, i.e. 06. 07. 09. six days after the phonecall, i am yet to get my table. not even a phone call. again i called the toll free number. they again promised to "look into" the matter. am i ever going to get my table? how such a reputed company like big bazaar, can be so casual in such matter? that too long after taking the entire amount from the customer. my kids school session has started since a fortnight. and i am counting days to get my product. this is simply not done. biswal
