I am Suruchi Ranjan; my family is a regular customer of Bindals Inner Circle, Connaught Place, Near Palika Bazar,
ND-1.
I always go to this branch and I never had such a bad experience as I had on 18th Feb. This is the one incidence that will make all in my family not to trust the Corrupted People in that branch.
I purchased One Jeans worth Rs.907 and One Cosmetic worth Rs. 342, I got two bills for each the Cash Memo No. G47125 and G47129 respectively Dated 18/02. I gave 2000 Rs to paid the Bill of Total 1249 took the Balance Rs. 751, as one 500 Rs and two 100 Rs Note and one 50 Rs Note.
I didn’t take out that 700 Rs from that day and as I required I took that 500 Rs note to buy something on 20th Feb. The shopkeeper identified the Note as FAKE, and told me to return it from the place from where I have taken it. So that evening after my office I went straight to Bidals CP who gave the 500 Rs note, I gave it to them and they too said to exchange as it is FAKE.
Only after getting assured I went to Bindals that they only gave it two days back .i.e. on 18th. The Customer Service it is so BAD that they without listening us properly started saying that it’s not from our store, without investigating the matter well.
They just wanted to escape from this fact that their employee is so careless that they keep the FAKE notes at their Cash Counter. According to them they get the Fake notes and they keep the bundle separately from the real notes and they destroy the fake one. But when we went they had at least one bundle of 500 Rs Fake Notes. If they “Destroy” then from where they came???
Moreover, they say that they have an expert who can identify Fake Notes and they don’t circulate it to the customers. So if they have the expert they why do they take such fake notes??? I don’t think any businessman would like to take it for their loss.
Our complain was not treated properly even when we were more than 100% sure that it’s that store only that we got that Fake Note. The lady who gave the Note was also not available for any explanation and the employees said she was the Owners Daughter. So they won’t call her. The employees kept arguing at least for two hours, without checking the details from the Concerned Female. Being the owner daughter she might be visiting the store irregularly and it can be possible that by mistake she would have given the fake note which is kept next to the real ones. If they don’t keep the fake note at the cash counter this would not have happened. Why to keep the fakes notes in store and even if they have then why at cash counter, as it can happen that some employee intentionally or unintentionally give it to any customer as I got.
Generally when we go for shopping we do check the Balance we get, but we just count so that we don’t get less money but how can we, general public, find out which one is fake and which one is real??? It’s the professionals involved in any business or bank people or one of good knowledge of such issue can find out, as the real or fake both looks exactly the same.
This whole drama troubled us so much that we will not be going to any branch of Bindals ever now. The very thought of or the very name of Bindals makes us go through all the pain that we experienced that day. At least till the till time one is sure that it’s not their mistake they can investigate in the issue, but they called us, me and my brother Ravi, twice with bill and treated us badly.
I don’t think now a day’s anyone will have that much of time that they will go unnecessarily to any store taking such fake notes and asking them without any reasons. We had a true and strong reason for seeking an answer from them for my hard earned money as well as the time I wasted without getting a positive result.
It’s not the money matter but the kind of attitude and behavior they were showing was so pure that I will suggest even my family, friends and distant family members also not to go at any Bindals store ever.
The Four People who deal at the Cash Counter of Bindals CP are corrupted and have cheated us. I want them to take action against them who deal at the Cash Counter at Bindals CP and to apologies for their Bad behavior. Also to return my Money
I will file a case against them in Consumer Forum, through mail as well as personally submitting this complain letter.
