No update about my new credit card application

Dear Sir / Madam,

I had applied for credit card on 18th – March -09, please refer the scan of my application acknowledgment. There was no tracking provided to me for this application whether it’s processed or not.

I had called several times to the customer care number and spoke to the executives there, but every time there was no trace available with them regarding my application, for the first two times I called the customer care, instead of trying to find my application details and the reason for non-traceability they asked me to wait for some more days.

Why a tracking number was not given to me to trace my application status, and why your people were not able to trace the status with the application number.

i had recieved a call on 15th may 09 from Mr. Muralikrishnan ([email protected]) from HSBC regarding this and he said that the application has been traced and everything is Ok as on date, he had also told me that he will get back to me but till today he has not turned up, he is not answering to my call also (his phone number is 9940224456).

i had called up chennai customer care yesterday and today and spoken to Ms Sundari and Mr. Sarvesh respectively but no update available with them and i have been asked to wait for another 5 days.

May I know the present status, the reason behind the delay and non-intimation for delay?
